#BestGameEver was played one year ago today.  I doubt I need to add much commentary beyond saying "WildCard Game" and each of you know exactly what I mean, where you were when the game ended, and what it has meant to Kansas City in the 365 days that have followed.  I don't think it is possible to quantify the impact that victory had on this community.  Nobody can predict what this year's postseason run may bring Kansas City and nobody will forget what October 2014 meant to Kansas City.  Thank You Royals.  Let's do it again, I have finally caught up on my sleep.

#AmericanRoyalBBQ is this weekend and has moved from the parking lots around Kemper Arena to the parking lots of Truman Sports Complex using the space between the stadiums as a stage for live music.  I am sorry to see this leave Kemper and excited to see it grows into the new larger location.  We all know that particular parking lot can handle BBQ & Beverages but it will be strange to experience the Tailgate Atmosphere without a Sporting Event payout at the end.  Good luck to all of the participants and volunteer organizers that will work hard to make it a success.  The new location will bring new challenges but I am betting in only a few short years we will wonder how the event was ever held anywhere else.

#WaldoThunder2016Workouts will be held October 19-25.  More specific information will be posted on TeamworkSportsKC.com and Facebook.com #waldothunder in the next few days.  The timeline for each of the eight teams 7U-14U is to try and have the 2016 Team Rosters locked down by Halloween in order to ensure we have uniforms ordered by Thanksgiving.  Indoor Winter Workouts will begin the first week of January.  In related news, we have confirmed the 12U Waldo Thunder team will be making the trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park the week of June 11, 2016.
